Brake System Install
1. Remove the wheel
2. Remove the original brake caliper and original brake disc
3. Clean the wheel hub surface (remove the rust on the surface with a steel brush or copper brush, which is the contact surface with the brake disc)
4. Clean the surface of sheep horn ear (remove the rust or fixing glue on the surface with steel brush, copper brush, blade or fine sandpaper)
5. Install and tighten the AP brake caliper and brake disc (fasten the brake disc to the wheel hub with wheel nuts or bolts)
6. Measure the clearance between the brake caliper and the brake disc with a feeler gauge
The ideal clearance is: upper left = lower left = upper right = lower right, i.e. a = B
Generally, upper left = lower left ≥ 1.0mm, while upper right = lower right ≥ 1.0mm
(the upper and lower clearance can allow a deviation of 0.1-0.2mm)
7. If the clearance does not meet the above standards, please use thin shims to adjust the clearance between the brake caliper and the brake disc
Adjustment method: place the 0.5mm gasket between the caliper support and the horn ear as appropriate
8. Fasten the brake caliper with a torque wrench (it is better to apply screw fixing glue to the thread to prevent loosening)
Tightening force: M10 screw 60N. M
M12 screw 75n. M
M14 screw 100N. M
9. Remove the original brake hose
10. Install the brake steel throat and adjust the position and angle (it should be considered that the brake steel throat cannot touch the surrounding parts when the wheel moves up and down and rotates left and right)
11. Replace the brake oil, exhaust the air and clean the brake surface.
12. Install the wheel and tighten the wheel screws (or nuts) to the specified torque with a torque wrench.
The caliper is made by an integrated process. Its biggest feature is that there are six large pistons. According to the foot step depth, there will be different numbers of pistons to pressurize. Gently step on and push four pistons and heavily step on and push all six pistons, so it can better control the braking force. If you want to slow down slightly, you can slow down slightly. If you want to stop urgently, it will give me "all" braking force.
The perforated disc is used to dissipate heat and improve the heat decay resistance of the brake. The marking disc is used to quickly discharge the worn powder of the brake pad and improve the braking force. I choose perforated brake discs with better heat dissipation.

The function of bracket (also known as brake bracket) is to link and fix the brake calipers. It needs to be specially designed for special vehicles. They are basically of equal design. Some products will be marked with the front and rear directions, but the left and right fixed directions are not marked. During installation, some people found that the installation could not be carried out according to their previous experience. They thought it was a product design problem, so they carried out destruction and transformation. In fact, the bridge locations of all departments have been accurately calculated, so it is necessary to determine whether the installation position is correct
